Branded Infant Care Line at Babies R Us

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

To all Parents and parents to be out there, I have good news for you! Have you heard the announcement that the Toys R us made regarding the branded infant care line of products at its stores? If not, then let me tell you this news that would really save you money without sacrificing or compromising the quality of the baby products you buy at their stores. At Babies R Us, you will now find baby's essentials at their stores such as diaper, powdered infant formula, baby wipes, laundry detergent, purified water, and more for an affordable price. This is good especially to those who cannot afford those trusted branded baby products at your favorite store as well as at the Babies R Us stores itself.

I am sure my friend who has twins would be very happy about it since it will help her family on saving money for their trip to the Philippines and at the same time give her kids quality baby essentials products for an affordable price. I couldn't wait to tell it to her. How I wished that these products were available already when I had my son, that way, we don't need to go to other store, but one and that is at Babies R Us where we bought our son's clothes, crib, car seat, bedding, baby bath tub, high chair, stroller to name some. We really trusted the store when it comes to our baby's need. So, if I were you, I would go to their store right now to check on those infant care line and get those baby essentials for your baby.

Doctor's Appointment Tomorrow

It is good to be home after three days stay at the hospital. I missed the house, and most of all my son. So sad that he is sick and won't be able to go to school tomorrow. He also missed his first class presentation at school today. First, he was throwing up yesterday, coughing still, and now has fever because of his ear infection. I tried to convince him to go see the doctor with me tomorrow so he would feel better; first, I explained to him that the doctor is not going to give him a shot, but just check on his ears before he said, okay Mommy. He is now sleeping, but I can hear his difficulty on breathing. As for me, I need to see our doctor, for a referral to see an Endocrinologist for my diabetes. I am glad that Dr, Trieu is available tomorrow though I just phoned his office just this afternoon. Bad for hubby because he needs to drive us right after his night work tomorrow...which means "no sleep" till we get home from the clinic.

It Needs to Be Cleaned!

I am good at cleaning the house/apartment except the ceiling fans. I so hate it next to ironing clothes. So as you can see, this ceiling fan in our bedroom is so dirty because hubby keeps forgetting to do the cleaning for me :-(. Finally, today, he cleaned it, yay :-)!

Before...
After...
Thanks, Hon :-)...you are so sweet!

Real Simple Magazine reader Maryellen Klements offered up this awesome tip for cleaning ceiling fans with a pillowcase. Just hook the open end of the pillowcase over the fan blade and pull it across the dusty blade, catching all the dust inside the case. You might want to add some dusting spray to the case beforehand too.

Looking for Pregnancy Forum?

One of the great adjustment I have made in my life was living on a foreign country where everything was new to me. The language barrier was one of them, then the culture, background and race and so on and so forth. Then, I got pregnant and that makes it even harder. There was no one I can turn to for help since my in-laws live far away from us just like my parents. I still think that we lost our first child because of my lack of knowledge about pregnancy and stuffs even though my doctor assured me that it wasn't my fault. Had I known the Pregnancy Forum, could have had saved my baby's life. Believe it or not, it has been seven years, but I still mourn her death. I miss her so much. Now, I am not allowed to get pregnant again because of my health condition. My poor son has been asking for a brother/sister lately and we can't do anything about it. Someday, when we are qualified, we plan to adopt a child not only because of our son's wish, but also because we want more children. My husband and I both love kids and big a family.

Busy Day Today!

It is a great day today, not that it is sunny and a little bit warmer outside. It is because there is no school today. My son is home with me. He told me last night that he would help me clean the apartment. He loves to vacuum and dust. Thank goodness I have little hands to help me; yup I have many things to do from folding and putting away clothes (not my fave chores aside from ironing), cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms. I still need to run the dishwasher and mop the floor. I tell you, when I get lazy....I really do. I am so lucky to have a husband who never complains, but does the cooking and cleaning kitchen when he is off from work. Speaking of work, one more night and the three days off work is here....misses him when he is at work especially at night. Well, so much for my laziness, I need to get my butt out of the couch and start doing my chores. I have promised my son last night that I will take him to McDonald because he did a good job at school for the past six months considering he is the youngest in his class. We had a Parents and Teacher Conference yesterday morning and hear nothing but praises and good word about Jake from his teacher. Great job , son! We are very proud of you!

The Happy Minimalist

This is a sponsored guest post written by Peter Lawrence on behalf of Peter Lawrence. Post powered by Sponzai.

Being a minimalist simply means being efficient: – using the minimum resources to achieve your goal
After all, isn’t it futile to do with more what can be done with fewer?
The principle is not earth shattering. Albert Einstein, Diogenes, Lin Yutang and many others have extolled the virtues of simplicity. Yet, only a few realize the wisdom and possess the fortitude to actually live simply.
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.- Ellen Goodman
We call someone who is dependent on drugs a drug addict; someone who is dependent on nicotine a smoker and someone who is dependent on booze an alcoholic. If you are not a drug addict, chain smoker or an alcoholic, you probably feel grateful that you are not dependent on drugs, tobacco and alcohol. Likewise a minimalist is happy because he/she is not dependent on material stuff for his/her happiness. Many of these material stuff, just like drugs, tobacco and alcohol are not needs but rather wants. The less your happiness is dependent on them, the better off you are.
