Great Summer Vacation for All!

Summer is here and I can feel the warm weather. Kids are out of school in the next three weeks ready for family summer vacation. We just got our pool pass for this year in the neighborhood where we live. And just recently went on a spring family vacation on the beach for five days. We had so much swimming, playing, wading, walking on the beach. It would be nice to go to Florida since Jacob is old enough to enjoy the rides; he can even go with us on a water rides! But, it wasn't on our budget. It is great to know that Kissimmee is giving away a 3 weekend getaways (3days/2nights) for 2 and 2 week long vacations for a family of 4. My family and I loves to eat, that is why I make sure that the foods I serve them are healthy and safe to eat. One thing I learned from my mother growing up is food safety. Our Family Getaway for the Year 2009

These are some of the pictures taken during our trip to Virginia Beach for our supposed to be a summer getaway for this year. But we decided to do it this Spring because the weather is nicer compared to summer. Not to mention that we have save some because of the deal we got from Expedia and also because the beach is not that busy yet. We did have so much fun!

Mommy Moments - Doctor, Doctor, Am I Sick?

The theme for this week's Mommy Moment is "Doctor, Am I Sick? I don't have any pictures of Jake's visit at his doctor's clinic, so I decided to just attached a couple of pictures taken when he was born and was staying at NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), Medical City Hospital - Dallas, Texas for a month. He was a preemie baby...7 months to be exacted when he was born. As you can see, he was so tiny and was at the incubator that time.

...in here, he already gained a little weight; he didn't have any health problem whatsoever when he was born. He just need to gain weight....that's all!
