HMS Home Warranty Makes Owning and Selling Real Estate More Enjoyable

This is a sponsored guest post written by Trevor M. on behalf of Trevor M.. Post powered by Sponzai.

For over 30 years, HMS National has been innovators in the home warranty industry. They will make owning and selling real estate more efficient, safer and more enjoyable. Their plans protect home sellers, homeowners and home buyers.

When you list your home with HMS Home Warranty, you receive protection before, during and after the sale. According to a Gallup Poll 8 out of 10 people looking for a new home prefer a warranted house. A home warranty also increases the value of a house so you can sell it for up to 3% more and Business Week says home warranties are considered a safe investment for buyers. Because of this, the National Home Warranty Association notes that warranted houses sell 50% faster. The components and appliances are covered against costly repairs while the house is listed. HMS Home Warranty is dedicated to quality customer service, so workmanship is guaranteed for 180 days.

HMS Home Warranty also has a plan to protect home buyers. For one year from your closing date, they cover appliances and many major systems that are not covered in homeowners’ insurance. Buyers save on repairs because they pay only a standard deductible per service call, and they never have to worry that the service isn’t available. The HMS customer service center is open 24/7 all year with access to qualified contractors nationwide. When everything in your new house is running well you may decide to renovate or upgrade. You can get up to 30% off on name brand appliances for any number of appliances you need. There is much more coverage including locksmith charges up to $50, if you get locked out of your house. The HMS Home Warranty workmanship guarantee for 180 days also applies to home buyers.

Problems with maintaining a home and the breakdown of appliances often happen when you least expect it. These repairs are usually expensive and you may need to use money you have been saving for something else. An HMS Home Warranty will never allow that to happen. They take the stress and worry out of the repairs and maintenance of your home and let you relax. You will not even have to deal with the repair process.

The Best Eighteen Months of My Life!

I once served a full time mission for the LDS (Latter Day Saints) church back when I was still single. I spent 1 and a 1/2 year in the city of General Santos, Mati, and Kidapawan. Those were the best 18 months of my life...and I wouldn't trade it for the world. The service caused me my job promotion and a one year training in Japan. I never regret quitting my job and serving God in that part of His vineyard. I've met new friends, learned their language, gained testimony of the truthfulness of God's gospel, got the chance to know me better, share the word of God to others, and what my purpose is on this earth. Every so often, I can't help but find myself wishing that I could go back and serve again. There were even nights that I dream myself back in the mission field :-). Anyway, here is a photo of me and my last companion whom I trained for 4 months before I finally go home after my term is over. Her name is Marylene. Many people mistaken us as sisters and other thought we were twins. How I wished she was my biological sister. She now lives in Manila and have wonderful family of her own :-). Hope to see her when we go visit Philippines next year.

Don’t Worry About Safety When Purchasing a Rolex Online from GK Scott

This is a sponsored guest post written by GK Scott on behalf of GK Scott. Post powered by Sponzai.

Shopping online is not without its risks. But sometimes the risks are worth it, especially when the only way to save money and take advantage of a large inventory of quality pre-owned Rolex watches is to visit an online retailer such as GK Scott. When it is their only business, you can be assured that they understand and can appreciate your apprehension about buying online.

With GK Scott, though, safety has never been an issue. They have years of experience building a customer base over time that is pretty much unrivaled on the internet. Without excellent customer service and strict guidelines as to how money and merchandise will change hands, not to mention a system whereby every Rolex watch sold comes with a certificate of authenticity, they would not have lasted this long as the top online seller of certified pre-owned Rolex watches.

It is never easy giving your personal and private financial information to someone on the other end of a phone or over the internet. GK Scott understands this, and that is why they take every precaution to make sure that your information is kept strictly confidential, including becoming a member of the TRUSTe Privacy Seal Program. Under the TRUSTe program, GK Scott has agreed to disclose its privacy practices as well as its information practices to TRUSTe for their approval and monitoring.

In addition, when it comes time to place your order online, you’ll notice that a little lock symbol appears in the corner of your screen alerting you to the fact that the information you are sharing with the website is being protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption provided by GoDaddy.com, making sure your information cannot be tracked by online hackers..

These are just a couple of the many precautions GK Scott takes to put their customers’ minds at ease, so they can enjoy their shopping experience worry-free.

Trent Jordan, Vancouver Tour Guide, Promotes Vancouver Blogathon

This is a sponsored guest post written by Trent Jordan Vancouver on behalf of Trent Jordan Vancouver. Post powered by Sponzai.

Trent Jordan, Vancouver's most accomplished and sought after tour guide wants to support the 2010 Blogathon in Vancouver. The event, which is celebrated annually, will be held on August 21st, 2010. The Blogathon is considered to be one of the most exciting events that bloggers can participate in throughout Vancouver, Trent Jordan believes. Bloggers who participate will be asked to blog for 24 hours straight and post an original post every half hour. The purpose of the Blogathon is to raise funds for various charities throughout Canada.

The Blogathon has been held annually since 2000 and was recently changed from July to August. Previously the event was simply held online through web pages and social networking sites. This year, however, Vancouver will be one of two sites that will hold on-location blogging events. To give you a rough idea of just how effective this Blogathon can be, consider that in 2009 there were just over 30 participants. Those 30+ bloggers raised nearly $20,000 for their charities. Most bloggers are able to raise around $500 throughout the day while some raise even more.

Whether or not you live in Vancouver, Trent Jordan invites you to join in this cause. While Trent Jordan is considered to be Vancouver's ultimate tour guide, he also wants everyone to get involved with charity work. In 2010 the event will hopefully be even larger than ever before. This is the reason it has been pushed back to August, in order to spread the word. If in Vancouver, Trent Jordan would like you to at least come and support those bloggers who are participating in the event. The 20-24 hour marks of blogging can become extremely tiresome for those involved and they can use all of the support we can give them.

Several sponsors and local organizations should also be on site to provide snacks and various forms of entertainment.

Social Media Advertising Is the Next Big Thing, Says Trent Jordan

This is a sponsored guest post written by Trent Jordan on behalf of Trent Jordan. Post powered by Sponzai.

Social media has huge potential for use as an advertising medium. Trent Jordan believes that social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube will be the next big thing in online advertising. It is going to prove highly profitable for businesses to start using social media advertising in its early days.

The last revolution occurred when Google launched their own online advertising service, allowing people to place ads alongside the results generated by the search engine. Today, social media networking is rapidly becoming an important medium for businesses that want to promote their products and services.

Trent Jordan expects that social networking will soon become one of the most important marketing tools on the Internet and that now is the time for any business that wants to get in on the front line of the new revolution to make their move.

Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites and it has huge potential for targeted advertising. The site captures huge amounts of detailed data about its users. This information could be used to ensure that the most appropriate users see the ads that are placed on the site, targeting adverts to the people who are most likely to be tempted by them. If social networks are used properly, Trent Jordan believes that they will be hugely profitable for the businesses that advertise on them.

One of the most important benefits of targeted online advertising using social media networks is that it is a tool which can be used by businesses of all sizes. Major international corporations and tiny start ups can exploit these channels for advertising to great effect, even if all they have to spend on marketing is a few dollars.

Another benefit is that advertising on social media sites can be coordinated with the efforts that many businesses are already making to create an online and social networking presence. The new marketing tools that are appearing on social media websites complement these efforts perfectly.

Dinner at Iron Chef Restaurant

Another one of those busy, but fun days with my in-laws during their first visit to our new how. We didn't do much but hang around the house while fixing few stuffs like placing door knobs on kitchen cabinet, hanging ceiling fans and walking around the pond near the park. I am sure everyone enjoyed our trip to the mall as well as the dinner at Iron Chef restaurant where a Japanese chef cooking our foods right in front of us. Jacob and I never seen the trick that chef did before and so we were so amazed. The food were perfectly cooked and were very good! I tell you, it was the most expensive meals we ever had with my in-laws. I felt bad because they spent over a hundred bucks excluding the tips. My hubby told me not to feel guilty for they like to treat us and that this occasion doesn't happen all the time :-); felt better much better after hearing those words of assurance :-).

He was crying because he was cold :-); then Grandma Audrey talked to him and he stopped crying. I miss my baby...now he is about to turn six and a first grader this fall! Where did the time goes? Indeed, time flies so fast and before we know it he would be in college already...wahhhh :-(.

Anyway, here is my share for this week.... I know it's been awhile since I posted my last entry. Been very busy with our move. Okay, for more Nostalgic moments, click the badge above.

Sell Your Manufacturing Business with The Help of the March Group

This is a sponsored guest post written by March Group on behalf of March Group. Post powered by Sponzai.

Most business owners spend a lifetime building companies that make reliable products. Often starting from scratch, these entrepreneurs work endlessly to create a manufacturing business that is unique and profitable. After years of sacrifice and hardship from the owners, as well as their most loyal employees, their respective businesses finally begin to make solid returns on their investments. As the decades pass, these business owners expand into other manufacturing markets to create a corporation that is both regional and global in scope.

Sometimes, one of these outlets becomes less profitable, and the entrepreneur seeks to sell one of his smaller manufacturing businesses to a company that will take care of his loyal workers. Perhaps, a different owner with a unique perspective can transform the unsuccessful manufacturing business into a profitable venture. The entrepreneur begins to wonder who can help sell the manufacturing business. He does not need to look further than The March Group.

Many times, business owners do not have the time or the expertise to properly sell their companies. That is why The March Group is a reliable ally in finding the best buyer for one’s manufacturing business. First, The March Group works hard to research the best options for selling a company. Then, the firm advises its client throughout the deal. Last, the firm remains with its client until the moment that the last paper is signed during the point of sale.

Overall, The March Group researches, counsels, and mediates throughout the entire business deal, allowing clients to turn their attention to other ventures. The March Group knows that a person can spend a lifetime building a company. That is particularly true when that company happens to be a manufacturing business. In the end, The March Group tirelessly works to make sure that an owner and his loyal employees earn a lifetime’s worth of profits from the sale of the company.

TRU Adds Babies R Us Branded Infant Care Line

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

Before I even gave birth to our son six years ago, hubby and I made Babies R Us part of preparing our son's room and that also includes his basic needs such as baby furniture, clothes, stroller and more. After he was born, we still go there for items you will not find in other stores.

Anyway, I have a good news for all the mothers and mom's to be out there. Toys R Us has officially announced that they are going to sell Babies R us brand of infant care line of products at their stores. The Babies R Us new line of infant care products includes: include infant formulas, diapers, baby wipes, laundry detergent and purified water at prices at least 50 percent lower than other brands.

When I shopped for my friends baby shower gifts, the said products are already available. I like that the Babies R us brand of formula is a lot cheaper than comparable brands. My friend would be very happy to know that since she has a twins who need this infant formula. She really needs to buy infant milk or her babies would never be healthy and strong as they grow up. Aren't you mothers glad that Babies R Us offers cheaper baby products of the same quality as comparable brands? You not only saving some bucks but also giving your child/children great tasting infant milk/formula. So what are you waiting for? Shop at Toys R Us today!

Summer time is the time where everyone want to cool off from the heat of the sun. Some may go swimming on the pool, other will be on the beach....no matter where you are stay safe especially watch you kids....this will help save the life of your kids from drowning.

According to Kids Health, nearly one thousand kids drown each year in the United States, and most of those deaths occur while children are under the supervision of a parent or caregiver. Keep your kids safe this summer by understanding the basics of water safety: supervision, education, and safe swimming environments.

~~ Stay away from open water in your neighborhood, including ditches, lakes, and drains.
~~ Never enter a backyard pool or hot tub without an adult's permission.
~~ Don't roughhouse, run, or push around a pool.
~~ Never swim alone.
~~ Don't dive in shallow pool water or into lakes or rivers.
~~ Take a break when you feel tired.
~~ Don't panic if you become exhausted. Call for help. Then turn on your back and float until you are rescued or have the energy to swim to the edge of the water.
~~ Get out of the water if you see lightning.
~~ Wear a life jacket whenever you're swimming in open water or riding in a boat.
~~ Follow lifeguards' directions.

Team up with the March Group and Earn Money for Retirement

This is a sponsored guest post written by The March Group on behalf of The March Group. Post powered by Sponzai.

Andrew Carnegie started out with very little. As a young immigrant from Scotland, Carnegie worked several jobs throughout his young life in America. By his middle age, Carnegie had monopolized the mass production of steel with his Carnegie Steel Company. By the time he retired, selling his holdings to J.P. Morgan, Carnegie had more money than he could ever handle. As a result, he became one of the world’s most prolific philanthropists. Nearly one hundred years after Carnegie’s death, he is still considered one of the richest, most successful business owners that ever lived.

Sadly, not every business owner or entrepreneur is Andrew Carnegie. When these business owners retire, they will never have the money that Carnegie commanded during his philanthropic ventures. Nevertheless, business owners today can still sell their companies for a comfortable retirement. Seeking out the financial expertise of The March Group is the first step.

The life of a moderately successful business owner never parallels that of Carnegie’s fairy tale. Still, The March Group, a middle-market investment firm that specializes in mergers and acquisitions, works to ensure that business owners can turn a great profit from selling their businesses. The profits gained from sale ultimately allow these hard-working individuals to retire. With The March Group, these retirees can finally slow down and enjoy a retirement that allows them to still turn profits.

Starting a business takes a great deal of courage. Retiring from that same business takes even more determination. During the moments of uncertainty, The March Group will be there to help guide its clients toward retirement. While the majority of business owners will not turn the same profit from their company’s sale as that of Andrew Carnegie, The March Group ensures that these owners never need to worry about the nuts and bolts of business again. Instead, they can finally enjoy the easy life. Philanthropic endeavors are, of course, optional.

Just Blabbing :-)

Would be staying up late tonight again so I could finish the tasks assigned to me or else they would expire tomorrow. I know it is bad for my health to stay up late, but I have no choice. Anyway, this doesn't happen all the time....a little bit at a time would not be that bad :-); plus I need extra money for our trip to the Philippines next year. I also need to send the BalikBayan box....I don't want to procrastinate it anymore. They have been waiting for the box for months now and I don't want to disappoint them again. Anyway, just blabbing up here before I phone my parents tonight :-). Ta ta for now!

Want Some Cake?

Since my son's six birthday is coming very soon, I decided to make cupcakes instead of the normal cakes. I am sure he would like to have chocolate cupcakes for that is his favorite. I noticed every time I attend a birthday party, more and more people don't care about cake anymore and so, cupcakes would be perfect for it is a small portion and guest who are on a diet would be very happy.

We all know that the summer is big on festivities. Here are some fool-proof suggestions to slice and dice the crowning piece of any party—the cake.

Dental floss: This works best for sheet cakes. Take a string of (non-flavored) dental floss, about six inches longer than the cake on each side. Push the floss through the width of cake and then the length of the cake. Continue to do so until you have as many slices as you need.

Round cakes: Cut a smaller circle in the middle of the cake. Give the outer pieces to the frosting lovers, and the inside pieces to the cake lovers.

A side of ice cream: Ice cream is a great complement to a slice of cake, but it is no fun for the person scooping it! Try this: buy a cardboard container of ice cream and leave it out to soften somewhat. Remove the packaging and cut the ice cream into slices. If the container is a cylinder, before removing the ice cream from packaging, cut it in half length-wise, so it becomes two half-circles, and then slice.
