After many attempts to settle down the dispute between Walgreens and Express Script, both companies ended with a sad decision which was to extend not their business contract anymore after the said contract had expired in Dec. of 2011. This is not a good news for all Walgreens costumers. We are one of their valued costumers and are happy with their services, but is sad to those who are affected by this decision. So effective Jan. 1, 2012, Walgreens will no longer part of the Express Script Pharmacy Program, and this is not good for all Walgreens costumers who use Express Script medication program. But Walgreens assured their valued customers that they will still get the same quality service they have been getting ever since they started using Walgreens as their Pharmacy.
Walgreens was very kind enough to put up a club called Walgreens Prescription Savings Club for those who are affected by the move. Here in this club, costumers will still avail similar, even better benefits they've been previously enjoying, great savings are up and can be availed on their purchase on over 8,000 branded and generic medications when they join the club. I think this is great!
